Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Community Charge Nurse at North Ayr Health Centre.

What you will do:

You will have experience working as a qualified registered Nurse and be responsible for the robust holistic assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a variety of client groups in the community setting.  Previous community experience is desirable.

You will be responsible for the direction and management of a caseload of individuals within Ayr North locality who may be affected by homelessness and/or social deprivation. Your role is vital in providing supervision and support of staff whilst carrying a caseload of individuals who have complex health and social care needs.

You will have experience of working with those who have experienced trauma, vulnerability and potentially subjected to public protection legislation.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community. You should be able to provide evidence or personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

A current NMC PIN is essential.

Hours:

1 Post - 37 per week

Fixed Term/Secondment: Please note this job is a fixed term/secondment for 12 months.

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership: UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
