Job summary

Our successful and highly achieving Urgent Community Response/Virtual Ward Teams require a Clinical Service Matron or Manager to support the teams as they grow in size and activity. Due to significant long term investment, the teams are increasing the number of virtual ward beds by more than 100%. This is a really exciting time for this award winning and engaged team, who are now seeking the right person to help lead their strategy, safety and governance agendas.

The right person will be experienced at a senior level, either from a clinical registrant or operational business-leadership background and have a strong track record of delivering successful change and service development.

Main duties of the job

To secure the highest standards of clinical care by providing management and leadership to registered and non - registered professionals within Community Services, specifically within the Urgent Community Response (UCR) and Hospital at Home Virtual Ward (H@H VW) Teams.

This key role is responsible for leading and delivering the governance agenda across the UCR and Hospital at home VW teams (H@H VW) This will include management and leadership responsibilities, development and creative leadership, responsive and compassionate leadership, quality improvement, enabling the teams to achieve a 'well led' culture that fosters cohesion between both locality teams and all Physical Health Community Services.
