An exciting opportunity has arisen in Norwich for an experienced clinician to join  Norwich Place as a Clinical Operations Manager for Central Norwich Neighbourhood.

The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and line management to staff working in the Central Norwich Neighbourhood and clinic-based services within the place portfolio.  The successful candidate will support staff to achieve and ensure competencies are maintained in addition to ensuring that the Trust annual priorities and quality goals are embedded within the workforce.

The main duties and responsibilities of a Clinical Operations Manager include providing clear operational leadership and line management, developing strong, transparent working relationships with key stake holders including Norwich PCN Neighborhoods, the local acute hospital, Social Services, Norfolk First Support and the voluntary sector.

  • To provide clear operational leadership and line management to the Community teams and clinical based services within the locality portfolio.
  • To develop strong, transparent working relationships with key stake holders including Norwich PCN Neighborhoods, the local acute hospital, Social Services, Norfolk First Support and the voluntary sector
  • To be responsible for the professional leadership of defined teams within Norwich Place, demonstrating a supportive and flexible leadership approach and a proactive, responsible attitude to promote confidence in the team and the service.
  • Deputise for other Clinical Operations Managers & Clinical Lead Managers as required
  • To explore current practice, identifying areas for development
  • To provide professional clinical leadership to the Integrated Community Team within own sphere of practice
  • To work within the integrated team to prevent unnecessary admission to hospital
  • To ensure services are able to provide in-reach to inpatient units and procured beds where required.
  • To work with all health care professionals, and statutory/non statutory agencies to provide a seamless, integrated service to our service users.
