We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Digital team as subject-matter experts in preparation for the introduction of Epic EPR System in areas of Pharmacy & Chemotherapy pathways.

Our EpicEPR will benefit clinical & operational areas, aligning to our Trust strategy to support harmonisation of services & patient pathways across the Trust.
You will play a key role in providing day to day management of designated system modules for which you are responsible for, incorporating both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy systems, oncology treatment plans and medication administration support. You will be part of the team in managing the software performance reporting process, liaise with system suppliers, clinical informatics team & keep up to date with developments. Provide specialist advice & guidance on system usage, proposed improvements, and training. Work as part of a team of dedicated Clinical Systems Specialists & Analysts.

Please note a Band 5 developmental role may be considered for the right candidate.
You will have the opportunity to retain your pharmacy technician practice role in delivering daily and weekend pharmacy services thus maintaining your skills and enabling an up to date knowledge of workflow processes supporting the development and implementation of the EPMA system.
You will be based at either Ipswich or Colchester hospital and will be expected to travel to all Trust sites as and when required.
