We are offering an exciting new opportunity - Dietetic Clinical Expert in Critical Care, Band 7, 0.8wte.  This new role combines expert clinical delivery with critical care clinical leadership - informing and leading on delivery of excellent nutrition and dietetic care for patients in critical care.

Main duties of the job

Clinically lead the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best nutrition and dietetic practice in Critical Care.

Lead on the development and delivery of education and training in relation to acute nutrition support in Critical Care.

Lead the development and implementation of nutrition and dietetic related guidance and standards, resources, training and education in relation to critical care, ensuring effective integration across programmes of work in relation to wider acute nutrition support.

Manage a caseload of highly complex individuals requiring complex nutrition support (level 3 critical care unit), ensuring effective step down, supporting excellent standards of nutritional care.
