An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the vibrant, forward thinking Forensic Community Mental Health Team (FCMHT) which is part of the secure care services at the Rohallion Clinic, Murray Royal Hospital, Perth.
The FCMHT is based within Birnam which is situated within the grounds of Murray Royal Hospital and is linked with Rohallion Secure Care Clinic, which represents a unique setting for secure care in that both low and medium secure care facilities are co-located in a beautiful, semi-rural, elevated site within walking distance of Perth town centre. Our service is using the principles described within the NHS Scotland Values Based Recruitment Framework. In this regard candidates for this post should anticipate
questions at interview
relating to the core values mentioned above.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register with a first degree or other qualification equivalent to level 9 of Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). It is preferable that you have extensive experience at a Band 5 or above within a community mental health team and be able to demonstrate expert clinical and professional practice. You will be expected to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of current legislation pertaining to community care and have a qualification relevant to mental health. You should be able to demonstrate evidence of extensive professional development.
You must be IT literate and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams and work effectively within a multi professional team.
Internal - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
