Job overview

An exciting opportunity has come up to join our well-established Sunflower Team. We have one permanent and one 12 month fixed term post currently available.

We are looking for you to be committed and passionate about providing continuity during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period for a caseload of women who are either uncomplicated, have complex social factors, have gestational diabetes, have been diagnosed with multiple pregnancy or planning a homebirth.

Main duties of the job

Would you like to offer women continuity of carer, support them in every part of their journey and develop your skills in all elements of midwifery practice?

Would you like to work autonomously, managing your own diary whilst collaborating with a team of likeminded midwives to promote physiological pregnancy and birth?

Chelsea & Westminster Hospital (in Chelsea) and West Middlesex Hospital (in Isleworth) are part of the North West London collaboration of Trusts, and were in the enviable position of being an ‘Early Adopter’ site – pioneering the way in implementing the recommendations set out in Better Births.
