A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Golden Jubilee as their first consultant pharmacist, specialising in Cardiology.
NHS Golden Jubilee is unique within the NHS; it is a national institution which comprises the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, home to centres of excellence in orthopaedics, ophthalmology and heart and lung services and a major diagnostic imaging centre. It also is host to the NHS Scotland Academy, the national Centre for Sustainable Delivery, the Golden Jubilee Research Institute and the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel. Its vision is “Delivering care through collaboration” for NHSScotland.
The Pharmacy Department, within the Golden Jubilee National University Hospital is integrated across its multiple services, where the post holder will provide safe, effective, and person centred care. They will work in collaboration with our friendly and supportive pharmacy team, and will be a critical part of the wider multidisciplinary teams in particular colleagues in the Heart and Lung Division. The role will also engage pan Scotland and work with territorial board pharmacy colleagues to benefit patients and the public also.
