The Cardiac Physiology service is recruiting a full-time clerical administrator as part of a service re-structure and expansion plan. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth delivery of the Cardiac Physiology non-invasive service, supporting our patients, staff and Trust compliance to managing waiting times for diagnostic tests.
If you are enthusiastic, empathetic and have excellent digital, communication and prioritisation skills you could be the ideal candidate. The role will suit a team player who is also able to act on their own initiative and prioritise their workload with flexibility to the daily operational demands.
The role includes welcoming patients, clinicians, and visitors to the department, dealing with enquiries, bookings and appointments via the telephone, email and in person. In addition, the role includes scheduling various diagnostic tests, database and waiting list management, and data validation so good IT skills are essential.
