Location: Hybrid - home-based / any Black Country acute Trust

Department: CEO Office – Black Country Provider Collaborative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Project Manager to join our Black Country Provider Collaborative Transformation and Delivery Office.

This role would be an excellent development opportunity for a current Band 6 Project Manager or anyone seeking to gain experience and enhance their skills working at a system-wide level.

The Project Manager will oversee three key transformation projects within the Breast Specialty Network:

  • Development of a breast reconstruction service providing free-flap surgery.
  • Establishment of a breast radiology alliance.
  • Review of the four Black Country breast units.

The ideal candidate will have experience in NHS clinical service transformation and project management, including planning, stakeholder engagement, and the development of outline business cases.

  • Lead the project management, development, and delivery of the three projects within the Breast Network.
  • Provide high-quality project management, including planning, administration, risk management, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely, effective project reporting and proactive management of risks and issues with appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans with defined deliverables and milestones.
  • Finalise development option details and conduct comprehensive options appraisals, including the completion of EQIAs for each project.
  • Develop outline business cases for each project by March 2025.
