The post holder will be able to work individually and as part of a team to perform deep cleans across wards and departments in the trust, you will be part of a reactive service who will contribute to the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- To perform deep clean duties in all parts of the Trust as required.
- The post holder will be required to carry the emergency pager and independently respond to this pager when it is operated.
- The post holder covers sickness and holidays of staff and attends site at weekends and nights as required.
- To carry out regular cleaning of air conditioning vents and grills
- To work without supervision on minor works.
- Ability to carry out priority work requirements on essential patient equipment used in patient care package and having a direct impact to the whole patient experience i.e., patient toilets/wash facilities.
- Must be able to communicate with a range of staff and clients on at all levels.
- Ability to prioritise changing workloads and to act pro-actively to address work requests in conjunction with Mechanical Supervisor/Estates Officer.
- Ability to understand and comment on maintenance policies.
- Maintain and repair health service property and equipment.
- To assist other trades as required
