Medical Laboratory Assistant – Band 3

Applications are invited from individuals, for the above post in the Microbiology Laboratory, a busy and progressive department based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. Individuals should be flexible, enthusiastic and well motivated. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in the diagnostic bacteriology section of a busy department within a large teaching hospital. Knowledge and experience of laboratory work would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

Hours of work are between the hours of 8.00 am and 8.00 pm Monday to Friday. Weekends and Public holiday working may be required
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
