We are looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants who will come and join our friendly clinical support teams across various wards at #TeamIOWNHS.

The Healthcare Assistant will support the clinical team in helping the patient in all activities of daily living, with both direct and indirect supervision as delegated by a registered nurse. In addition, you will maintain patient comfort, dignity and privacy at all times, as well as prepare patients drinks, serve meals and provide assistance as required.

This post can offer either full or part time hours and involves shift work which includes, early's 07:30 - 15:30, late's 12:00 - 20:00,  nights 19:30 - 20:00, weekends, and bank holidays.

To be an active member of the team, assisting the registered nurses with the provision of clinical care in a safe environment to a defined caseload of patients, assisting reception and housekeeping staff in the delivery of support services.

Ensure the maintenance of high standards of care in an environment, which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals.

Care must be in adherence to local and national policies.

To ensure that relationships and own behaviour is managed in line with the PCT competencies.

The role includes working in other departments across the Trust and evening and weekend working and night shifts.
