An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 pro-active and driven individuals to join Surgery Division as Band 7 Patient Pathway Managers (PPM):

•PPM For ENT and OMFS

•PPM For Ophthalmology

The successful candidates will need to a have strong administrative background with experience in PTL management, HR policies and leadership skills.  Experience in theatre scheduling and outpatient bookings, would be an advantage in this challenging but rewarding role.

The main duties for this role will be to support the Clinical leads and Service managers with the day-to-day duties in the departments, whilst maintaining and prioritising their own workload.   For informal enquiries please contact [email protected]

The Patient Pathway Manager will work in partnership with the Specialty Manager, managing a defined area of responsibility providing managerial leadership, expertise and operational support to staff within the area of management.

To work with the Specialty Manager with a particular focus on delivery of RTT constitutional standards to support the wider strategic development of the defined service by providing both operational business support in the development and implementation of the

To improve access to information and response to enquiries for all patients who use the service. To maintain a comprehensive and efficient patient pathway service to the clinical team to support the delivery of NHS constitutional standards.

To provide a contact point for administrative staff, to act on own initiative to resolve problems, and to bring any major issues to the attention of the Specialty management team.
