We’re looking for a Band 6 Rotational Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team!

This full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience across a variety of clinical settings.

The 6-month rotations cover Emergency Department/Acute Assessment Unit, Frailty Unit, Elderly Care, Medical, Community Bed-Based Rehabilitation, Stroke, and Orthopaedics and Surgery.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills across the above rotations by contributing to service development and supervision of qualified staff.

Each rotation is supported by a well-established supervision and in-service training programme.

There are also opportunities for study leave and course funding both internally and externally.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The department is a 7 day working service and this post would be included in that rota (frequency of 1:4 - 1:6 weekends) with rest days in the following week.  This is underpinned by a competency framework.

Watford General Hospital is within easy walking distance of the Metropolitan line (underground) and Watford Junction Station.

There may be a requirement for cross site travel.
