Job overview

We are looking for a 12 month fixed term full time Band 4 Operational Support Administrators to join our Operations Team at UHB.

We are looking for enthusiastic, organised, and flexible individual with a 'can-do' attitude and a passion to learn, grow and develop in Operational Management.

It is essential that applicants should fulfil the following criteria:

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive and full ranging administration/co-ordination service, working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders to provide an efficient service.

*To work closely with the Operations Managers team in radiology to support with PTL management, Cancer pathways including FDS, outsourcing of images to external providers, 50 week breach patients. Data validation experience is desirable.

*Receiving and dealing with telephone enquiries as appropriate and being sympathetic and sensitive to the requirements of staff and service users when communicating.

*Input and look up patient data on Trust IT systems in accordance with Trust policy.

*Create databases/ trackers to collect and monitor information to assist with the collection and provision of statistical data as required. This should include the ability to extract, manipulate, analyse complex data sets and communicate them in an easy to understand manner.

*Attend team / departmental meetings on a regular basis. Contribute to building effective teamwork in exchanging views, ideas and communicating effectively.

*Arrange meetings as necessary and be able to take minutes if and when required.
