We are recruiting for a Apprentice Clinical Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You will be working towards a BSc in Healthcare Respiratory and Sleep Science. Upon completion of your training and degree course you will undertake registration as a Respiratory Physiologist with the Academy of Healthcare Science.
Annex 21 will be applied for the duration of training which is expected to take 3 years to complete(please see attached guidance)

Perform the basic technical investigations within the normal operating procedures of the department, as instructed by the Consultant/Advanced Clinical Respiratory/Sleep Physiologist. To work toward developing a understanding and working knowledge of lung function and sleep testing. To work both under supervision and also as an independent practitioner when required
Complete BSc in Healthcare Respiratory and Sleep Science. Undertake registration as a respiratory physiologist with the Academy of Healthcare Science on completion of degree. Gain a working knowledge of health and safely, fire and other procedures affecting the department and patient care. During period of training, work under level of supervision agreed with the Clinical Respiratory Physiologist within context of developing experience.
