We are pleased to offer a vacancy opportunity to join our existing dedicated AVP Operative team based at our Hoyland Ambulance Station;
You will clean, stock, check front line Ambulance Vehicles and maintain effective housekeeping of garage and associated clinical areas.
Unsociable out of hours payment is provided for this role. Extra 41% for hours between 20:00 and 06:00 & Sundays 83% for all hours worked within these times.
This role offers competitive out of hours unsocial rates on top of basic salary indicated, unsocial payments subject to NHS terms and conditions.This role will also require you to travel throughout Yorkshire as and when required to other Ambulance Stations during your shift (transport provided)
Duties to include:
Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Operatives Process Ambulance Service Vehicles in a prescribed and controlled way that ensures each ambulance is fully equipped and prepared to attend and treat a patient. The role is a key operational support function, which ensures patient safety whilst supporting Operations in meeting its targets.
Main duties include cleaning activities, checking stock and equipment, and completing vehicle checks.
Travel to assigned locations will be required within your daily/weekly activities (transport will be provided)
No experience is required as full training will be given.
