Main duties of the job

The Maternity Discharge Coordinator will work throughout the maternity department and support staff with the workflow and discharge of women in our care to ensure that patient needs are met. The Maternity Discharge Coordinator will ensure there is high quality patient experience and assist with service development to maintain this. The role is intended to help reduce the length of stay within our Maternity unit and to develop a clear, robust and efficient discharge process.
